We recommend the Intrepid Cruiser for the lighter drivers, i.e. junior classes and TAG light classes. The Cruiser would also work well at a "low grip" track (like NTK in Denton), since it tends to be more forgiving by developing a little more grip. The Cruiser chassis comes equipped with steel and nylon synthetic torsion bars for fine chassis tuning. The newly designed brakes that Intrepid offers now is superior to models offered previously. The Factory Description:  The 2009 Cruiser V chassis performs a 30 mm geometric tubing diameter. This brand-new chassis brings new solutions such as the axle bearings’ supports and new SH2 spindles which increase the balance between front and rear part.  The  2009 Cruiser V chassis is equipped with original and performing brake systems of new homologation called R1, R2 and FRM.R1.  Such brake systems are composed by mono-block brake calipers with radial support, floating brake disks of new generation and brake pumps for oil recovery.
