The beginning of the 2005 season is just a few weeks away for some parts of the country. The 2004 Grand Finals in Lanzarote, Canary Islands is scheduled for January 20-22, and the buzz of preparation for another great season of Max Challenge racing is nearly audible to those of us close to the sport.


For these preparations to begin in earnest, it is important to get the new season's rules released. While the rules release from Bombardier typically waits for the conclusion of the Grand Final, we have received an advanced copy of the 2005 documents and would like to keep our constituents informed of some important changes on the horizon.


It is for this purpose that we release the following advanced information regarding the 2005 series. Please use this information as a means of preparation but also remember that the official release of our rules package is still some time away. We appreciate your patience and assure you that its release will come just as soon as we can possibly get it done.
