Zanardi Kart was initially an idea conjured up by Giancarlo Tinini, the owner of CRG. With the collaboration of Alex Zanardi and Dino Chiesa, the idea has came alive.
The Zanardi Kart headquarters (Chiesa Corse) is now based in Due Carrare, Italy. The company is headed by Dino Chiesa. Mr. Chiesa has long experience in the top levels of karting, previously working for CRG and heading the DC-One operation. He has had a pivotal influence on the careers of Formula One drivers including, Lewis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg and Vitantonio Liuzzi.
The Zanardi chassis is designed in conjunction with the extensive international racing program and are constructed by CRG to ensure the highest quality standards.  Zanardi KZ-1 & KZ-2 Chassis Specs- KZ-1 Tubing Diameter: 32mm / 32mm (ideal for shifters)
